VOLUNTEERS - EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH DEPARTMENT

The Educational Outreach Department needs volunteers in the following areas:

STUDENT AWARENESS DAYS

• Facilitators at each table to ensure that the conversation between the Survivor and students continues throughout the day

• Survivors to sit with the students and answer questions about the Holocaust
  
  
• Phone calls to be made to Survivors and facilitators
  
  
• Preparations for the programs

SPEAKERS’ BUREAU

• Phone calls to request speakers

• Phone calls with teachers
  
  
• Filling out forms

 TEACHERS’ INSTITUTE ON HOLOCAUST EDUCATION

• Preparation of institute

CONTEST

• Reading contest entries

• Judging the contest
