THE FUTURE MUSEUM
Our Museum will tell the story of the Holocaust in chronological order, featuring excerpts from our acclaimed Oral History Library Collection. Our anchor artifact, a World War II rail car, of the type used to transport Jews to concentration camps, will be on display as well.
Through the years the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center has collected artifacts and memorabilia relating to pre-Holocaust, Holocaust, and post-Holocaust life. If you have any items you would like to donate, please call us at (954) 929-5690.
The Museum will also feature:
- A comprehensive 6,000+ volume reference and research library
- A teacher/educator research center
- A bookstore
We currently have:
- Classroom for our Teachers' Institute
- Transcription and audit/editing computer stations for volunteers
- A recording studio
- A multi-purpose room for presentations such as our Meet the Author Series and International Series.

The museum is currently in the planning phase. However, if you would like to arrange a tour of the facility or the rail car for your school or other group prior to the opening of the museum, please call (954) 929-5690 to schedule an appointment. |
