WE NEED YOUR EYEWITNESS TESTIMONY

Dear Survivors:

More than sixty-five years have passed since you were liberated from the Nazi reign of terror. Although it is difficult for you to reach back to those bitter memories, it is most critical that you come forth now to tell of your experiences before any more time goes by. The recorded history that you give will challenge the lies and attempts to deny the Holocaust. They will also serve as a living testament in educating this and future generations concerning this darkest period of human events.

For more than thirty years, the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center has been interviewing Holocaust Survivors, Liberators, and Rescuers. To date, the Center's highly trained interviewers have conducted over 2,200 eyewitness testimonies. These interviews will be prominently featured in the first South Florida Holocaust Museum.

Each interview is invaluable and important. Each account has its individual uniqueness and is a confirmation that the Holocaust was an evil and tragic event. Your testimony is a necessary document to tell the world of this tragedy. It becomes a tribute to the memory of six million Jewish martyrs -- those who were silenced over six decades ago and who need your voice to bear witness. After giving your testimony, you will receive a copy of your interview as a legacy to your family members.
